The varsity girl’s lacrosse team played their first playoff game of the season against St. Michaels Academy on Monday. They lost the away game with a score of 19-3 which knocked them out of the playoffs.

“Even though we lost, I had an amazing time playing. I really felt like we learned about what we need to improve on as a team and as individuals,” freshman varsity player Lizzy Patterson said.

This is the first time that girl’s lacrosse has made it to the playoffs and they have been practicing since September. They are now ranked 34th in the state and are 5-7.

“It was truly inspiring to see such an improvement throughout the season and we worked really hard to get there. I hope we can continue on in the playoffs next year,” Patterson said.
