Congratulations to juniors Danielle Docherty and Taylor Watson, who are the first students in Vandegrift history to not only advance, but to place in the State Academic UIL meet. Last Thursday at the University of Texas at Austin, Taylor placed 5th in Feature Writing, and Danielle placed 7th in Editorial writing. The win comes after the qualifying regional meet last month at UTSA where Danielle placed 2nd in Editorial Writing, and Taylor placed 2nd in Feature Writing. Great Job!
