Valor student during Alliance Selections. Alliance Selections are an element of FRC robotics competitions where the top eight scoring teams become alliance leads.

Students from robotics traveled to Houston to compete in the FIRST Championship. This annual competition features top teams from the United States, Canada, Turkey, Mexico, and around 30 other countries. Students compete to create the most efficient robot to win top prizes. This year, two teams from campus competed, 4545 Ourboros and 6800 Valor. This event serves as the culmination of a successful season for students.

Yearbook staff members, juniors Mary Bahrami and Maya Bustami, earn first place in the state for their clubs spread focused on robotics from the current year’s yearbook Interscholastic Press Association’s individual achievement awards.
