The Vandegrift Voice student digital news staff won a Columbia Scholastic Press Association Crown.
Crown Awards are the highest recognition given by the Columbia Scholastic Press Association to a student print or digital medium for overall excellence. On December 14, 2023, the Columbia Scholastic Press Association announced Crown Awards finalists in the News Publications category. Finalists will be awarded either a Silver or Gold Crown at the CSPA 100th Annual Spring Convention on March 15, 2024, on the Columbia University campus in New York City.
Vandegrift is just one of three schools in the Austin area honored and just one of five schools in the state of Texas honored in digital news.
