On Monday, parents have the opportunity to attend Vandegrift’s Open House. This allows parents to meet their child’s teachers.
“Open House is the only opportunity for parents to meet teachers face-to-face and establish a rapport,” teacher Christopher Lindsay said.
Parents can come to Building 2 at 5:45p.m. to pick up their schedules for the evening. The open house will begin with a welcome and general session in the main gym at 6:00p.m. From 6:30 to 6:40p.m., parents will transition to classroom rotations. The class schedule rotation begins at 6:45p.m. Parents will go to their students’ classrooms and meet their teachers until approximately 8:40p.m.
