After 17 days, 92 nations and 2,871 athletes competing in Milan, Italy, the 2026 winter Olympics concluded on February 22. Though no one country wins the Olympics, final scores end with Norway with the most medals having 41 medals in total and 18 gold medals. The US ends behind Norway with 33 medals over all and 12 gold medals. Notably, women competing from the US won 17 medals total, six of them being gold, breaking the past record. Ranked third in overall medals, the home country Italy follows, behind the US with 30 medals total and 10 gold medals.
