An interview with Chemistry and Integrated Physics and Chemistry teacher Ms. Kim, about teaching at Vandegrift and some fun facts about herself.

1. What is something that people may not know about you?
I just got married to my awesome husband before the 13-14 school year started. We have one dog named Bear. And next year I will be going by Mrs. Milner, I never got the chance to change my name before school year started!

2. What made you want to teach Chemistry, IPC?
I love teaching Chemistry and IPC because they involve both science and math.

3. What is your favorite part about being a teacher at Vandegrift?
The students! This is my first year at VHS but I don’t think I could have had better students anywhere else. The students have made by first year a great year!

4. What should students expect for the year?
As long as students do what they are expected to do (with some effort) we should have an easy going school year.

 5. What is one fun fact about yourself?
I was born in South Korea but I grew up in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas.
