A: Outside of school, I have my soon-to-be 4-year-old son named Chase Christian Aldrich along with my dog Kiley, who is a Labrador/Dachshund mix.  I enjoy traveling to see family, ranch, and fishing along with giving private soccer lessons to our next generation coming up.

Q: Mr. Aldrich wanted to teach math and coach soccer because…

Q: He enjoys teaching here at Vandegrift because…

A: My colleagues and students.  The staff here is definitely unique and built like a family that enjoys each other’s company when working together.  The students help makes the environment enjoyable to be in, there isn’t any dull days and most days, brings laughter.  That is just fun to be a part of.

Q: What a student can expect from Mr. Aldrich as a teacher is…

A: The students inside my room can expect to learn math first and foremost, but to be able to be relaxed and enjoy the topic.  Math doesn’t have to be a stick and a ruler of bored numbers, but rather something that is fun and challenging at the same time.

A: I was a BMX bike rodeo champion in elementary.
