Before seniors submit to the symptoms of “senioritis”, the first graduating class should enjoy the last few months until graduation by accomplishing things that are inherent to every high school experience.

  • Go to Prom, and dance with friends.
  • “I really want to go to the beach with a bunch of my friends, maybe South Padre,” Lauren Daniels said.
  • Get an A on your math test
  • Cheer on the team at a basketball game.
  • Get breakfast before school at Torchy’s Tacos, but don’t be late for class!
  • Tell your favorite teacher thank you.
  • “I want to commemorate the class of 2012by starting a tradition in student council, where every graduating class has to leave a gift,” Cameron Corinaldi.
  • Try every food in the cafeteria.
  • Read the school newspaper.
  • “I still need to apply to college, and send my transcript,” Wesley Fisher said.
  •  Pull an all-nighter.
  • Walk around with balloons on your birthday.
  • “Go on a nice, fancy vacation with friends, and spend a lot of money shopping,” Christina Tran said.
  •  Bring food to school so everyone can be jealous.
  •  Have lunch in the library, and check out a book.
  •  Give a special someone a Valentine ’s Day card.
  •  “ I am going to Chicago on a mission trip for my church. And we are fixing up houses, and helping people in need,” Alejandro Santillana said. “I am really excited.”

So to all the seniors of Vandegrift High School, live it up class of 2012!
