Four senior athletes signed with different colleges on Thursday to continue their athletic careers at the colligate level. Erin Fahey signed to Bowling Green State University for golf, Bryn Recker signed to James Madison University for volleyball, John O’Grady signed to Queens University of Charlotte for lacrosse and Callaway Barr signed to West Liberty University for softball.

“It feels amazing to be able to continue my volleyball career in college. I’m glad that my career doesn’t have to end in high school,” Recker said.

Recker, Barr and Fahey all got full scholarships to the schools that they have signed to.

“I really liked the coaches’ enthusiasm, it’s a D1 school, and Bowling Green is an out of state school,” Fahey said. “I was offered a full ride and it seemed like a good fit for me.”

Barr will be a starting player for the softball team at West Liberty University in West Virginia .

“I play pitcher and I will be the starting pitcher when I get there. It’s a really awesome feeling,” Barr said.

Although O’Grady hasn’t locked down a starting position yet, he plans on working hard to earn his spot.

“I’m not a starter yet but that’s my ultimate goal by the time my first college season starts,” O’Grady said.
