The boys’ soccer team will compete against Boerne Champion in the Regional Quarterfinals at Unicorn Stadium in New Braunfels tonight at 7:30 PM, . While this opponent will prove a challenge, our boys will fight to the end.

“I feel anxious, but ready to get going into the game tonight,” senior Colin Stobart said.

In last Thursday’s game against Vista Ridge, Stobart scored had one goal to help win 4 to 0. Boerne, however, has always been a tough rival and tonight will be a showdown.

“I expect to play against a solid team, but we’re better. The plan is to out-possess them and lock down Boerne number 18,” senior Drew Golden said.

After defeating Cedar Park at the end of regular season play, earning the team the district champion title, they have continued their success, beating Austin Travis 1-0 to become bi-district champions, Lehman HS 4-3 to become area champions and Vista Ridge to become sectional champions.

Unicorn Stadium is located at 2557 Loop 337 North in New Braunfels, and tickets will be available at the gate.
