Students across campus got into the holiday spirit this past weekend by collaborating with the Dancers Workshop dance studio to bring the Production of The Nutcracker to life once again. The show ran Dec. 6 at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.

“It’s a great collaboration with theater tech, Legacies, and the company,” Legacies director Holly Lyons said.

“They actually are it snow, it was super cool,” stage manager Alaina Galasso said.

The Legacies opened the ballet with a kick routine, which is quickly becoming an annual event. The theater tech students were put in charge of the sour, lights, and curtain call during the how, ensuring that the production ran smoothly.

“The Nutcracker is my favorite play, and I loved learning our new dances for the performance,” sophomore Legacy Maddie Cook-Saunders said.
