FFA Chapter Meeting
The Future Farmers of America club held their first official chapter meeting on Tuesday. They discussed matters of importance, how to get an animal to raise, and how life in FFA will look like.

“We had a great kick-off meeting and we are looking forward to a great year and partnership between the FFA chapter and the alumni association,” Advisor Magan Escamilla said.

The meeting, which took place in the cafeteria, was filled with parents and new members. The night started with the standard procedure of each officer standing in a specific place and reciting the creed, and then to report to the president, who led the introduction part of the meeting.

“The introductions and speeches went really well,” said junior and Parliamentarian, Hannah Olsen.

The officials came up one by one to introduce themselves and explain their role as a leader. Ms. Escamilla and Larry Waddle, Co Advisor spoke, as well as a few parent volunteers. They explained the requirements and expectations for FFA, and then the meeting was adjourned for barbeque, provided by the club.
“The meeting was really fun and a great way to get information,” Officer Trevor Gotcher said.
