Vandegrift Students Take Advantage of Learning Leadership Skills at the LEAD Conference

Twenty-one Vandegrift students from organizations such as NHS, Student Council and PALS, had the opportunity to attend the 2012 Leander LEADs Conference on Nov. 16.  While there, the students heard from speakers Dr. Bret Champion, Coach Steve Gideon, Coach Anderson and guest speaker, Albert Gonzalez.  These students were selected by their respective organizations to represent Vandegrift at the conference. Other schools in attendance were Leander High School, Cedar Park High School, Rouse High School, Vista Ridge High School, Four Points Middle School, Running Brushy Middle School, Leander Middle School, Stiles Middle School and Henry Middle School.
