The Vandegrift High School choir is proud to present the second annual Broadway Night performance.  The performance will take place Thursday night at 7pm in the Choir room.  The entry fee is $5 and a variety of desserts will be provided during intermission.  Dress is semi-formal.

“People should come to Broadway Night to experience the classic Broadway songs as well as discover new ones. The choir students have worked so hard in the making of Broadway Night so support would be lovely as well!” Katherine  Kyaw junior and varsity choir member said.

The members of choir will be performing an array of popular Broadway Songs from Wicked to the Little Mermaid.  They have been preparing for months  for this performance.

“My favorite thing about Broadway night is getting to focus on a different genre of music besides choral for a while. It really helps us grow our talent as singers to mix things up now and again,” Kelly McChesney senior and varsity choir member  said.

Growing musical talent is exactly what the VHS choir is all about.  The choir looks for people who have a passion for music. There is no experience necessary to join.

“I hope and anticipate that the performances will continue to get stronger and stronger with each year,” Michael Feris head choir director said.

The choir looks forward to Broadway night becoming a Vandegrift tradition for many years to come.
