On Saturday, October 30, the band and Legacies competed at the Bands of America Super Regional competition in San Antonio.
Vandegrift students were at the competition all day Saturday, leaving at 6 AM and returning at 2 AM on Sunday.
The band and Legacies won several awards, including placing first in Class 1A for Overall Achievement awards, which included best musical performance, best visual performance and overall effect.
