With a plethora of schools abandoning their test optional policies, students are once again weighing the strengths and weaknesses of the standardized college testing options. The Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) and the American College Test (ACT) assess students on foundational skills in English, mathematics, science, and grammar. Despite their core similarities, many students find a particular test more effective and demonstrating their abilities.
