Q: What is the most important thing about being an anchor?

A: You have this responsibility of getting the news out to people. Sometimes you don’t know what’s happening and it’s really fun working with everyone else. It’s fun to see the progress of everything.

Q: What does an anchor do?

A: We go out and interview people and do little packages and put them together. Most of the time we’re in front of the camera, getting to talk.

Q: Why did you join AV?

A: This class is required for my program of study, because I’m wanting to do Graphic Design and Animation. I took Digital Media last year and loved that class so now I’m taking A/V 1.

Q: What is your favorite thing about being an anchor?

A: I like how I know everything that’s going on. My friends always end up asking me dates because I’m the friend that knows it.

Q: What is the most interesting thing that you’ve learned?

A: I’d say being able to actually talk on camera without freezing up, how to actually talk to people and how to give feedback to others.
