Ingredients:
2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon baking powder
1 cup butter, softened
1 ½ cups white sugar
1 egg
Substitute: 1-½ tablespoon of Vegetable Oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Steps:
Preheat Oven – 375 degrees Fahrenheit (195 degrees Celsius)
Flour, baking soda, and baking powder together in a bowl and stir
Beat sugar and butter together in a bowl with electric mixer until you reach a smooth texture
Beat in egg and vanilla
Gradually blend in flour mixture with this smooth batter
Roll dough into small-sized balls
Place them 2 inches apart from each other onto an ungreased baking sheet
Bake in the oven until the edges turn golden (8 to 10 minutes)
Let cookies cool on the baking sheet before moving them to a rack to cool further
