Junior girls faced off against the senior girls in a flag football game on May 24. The teams were coached by some of the football players, the girls participated in an intense two half game.

“The game was fun,” junior Torrey Prukop said. “We should have won though, some of the calls that were made were completely in favor of the seniors.”

The game consisted of two 25 minute halves with a two minute half time. The players and coaches endured temperatures outside that topped 90 degrees.

“It was unbearably hot throughout the entire game,” junior Hallie Locke said. “We tried to drink water and power through it as much as we could, but the heat still made the game so much more difficult.”

Since there were so many players, it was difficult to get each girl to play.

“The game was super fun,” junior girls head coach Spencer Jones said. “I would probably change up some of the positions and rotate the girls in and out of the game more next year.”
