Ramie Ruble, Staff Writer

An anti-bulling conference is being held by the district on Thursday, May 10 from 6-9pm at Deer Creek Elementary School.  The conference is designed to promote awareness and prevention of bullying.

At the event, there will be a featured speaker and three rotations.  In these rotations teachers and parents will have the opportunity to learn about bully prevention in LISD, general strategies to prevent bullying and awareness issues, and discuss how the district can improve on its bully prevention programs. Parental feedback will be directly used in future and present strategies.  For more information, visit, select “parents and students” tab and click “bullying prevention.”
