Is anyone else ready for summer parties? There’s a lot to keep track of when hosting parties, though. Here’s five party hacks to make throwing a summer party easier.

  1. Pre-Scoop Ice Cream
This is a very simple hack to make your life easier when throwing a summer party. The night before the party, pre-scoop ice cream and put it into the freezer. You can use cupcake liners or even plastic cups to keep the ice cream in.

  2. Lawn Twister
If your parents will let you, spray paint Twister dots on your lawn to make your own game of lawn Twister. If you aren’t allowed to do that, make your own version of outdoor twister! Head out to Target and buy a bunch of poster board, use packing tape to tape them together, and paint the circles. Voila! You have a DIY game of lawn Twister.

  3. Freeze Water Balloons
I think this is the coolest hack. Fill up water balloons, put them in the freezer overnight, and then put them in a cooler to keep your drinks cold. My favorite part about this is that once the ice melts, you can throw the water balloons at your friends!

  4. Make Vegetable Trays Interesting
Make an ordinary vegetable tray exciting by using bell peppers to hold dip. This hack could be used to hold dip for chips, too. Cut the seeds out of the bell peppers like this:

  5. Fruit Ice Cubes
Here’s another freezer hack! Put berries in an ice cube tray, and then fill each section with water. Leave the ice cube trays in the freezer overnight, and you have flavored ice cubes!
