Mother’s Day Gift Guide

I don’t know about you guys, but my mom is pretty much the most amazing person ever. She’s kind, nurturing, funny, and one of my best friends. Therefore, it’s important for me to make sure I get her the perfect gift this Mother’s Day. Below are some cute ideas that any mom is sure to love!

  1. Soaps/Lotion: Okay let’s be honest, who doesn’t love getting a package of their favorite Bath and Body Works scent? Mother’s Day is the perfect occasion to give your mom one of the store’s new spring smells to treat herself to. Additionally, this gift is fairly cheap and easy to find.
  2. Personalized Mugs: Every morning when my mom gets up the first thing she does is pour herself a cup of coffee. Finding your mom a monogrammed mug or perhaps even a “World’s Best Mom” mug is an adorable and useful gift. Anthropology is always an awesome store to look at when buying personalized dishes of any sort.
  3. Jewelry: For those of you out there who aren’t restricted by a budget, jewelry is always the key to any woman’s heart. This year Kendra Scott necklaces have been very popular and are easy to stack with other necklaces. Additionally, earrings can also be really fun, just make sure they’re something she would actually wear.
  4. Cookbooks: For anyone out there who has a mom who loves to cook/bake a cookbook is an easy and useful thing to buy (also you get good food down the road). Barnes and Noble has an extremely large cookbook section with almost every genre of cooking.
  5. Towels/ Beach bag: Summer is just around the corner and most moms are going to want to be prepared. A personalized towel or beach bag is a super cute and thoughtful gift that your mom can use all season. Both Pottery Barn and Lands End have great options that allow you to personalize with your mother’s name or initials.
